Below is a list of some of my favorite quotes. Throughout my journey each of the quotes, lyrics and Bible verses have played a significant role in shaping who I am today
We must fall in order to rise
Hmmm well said Abe
A line by Tyrion Lannister. His quick wips and prideful knowledge reminds us to accept ourselves as we are.
In the song "No Good Bastards" Nova Rockefeller sings this line at the end of her verse. It is a beautiful image of climbing out of the prisons we trap ourselves in. Just as we are all God, we are also The Fallen Angel.
A saying by one of my favorite YouTube readers Kloee Taylor. Often times we may get stuck overanalyzing a situation or problem. Becoming aware of the stagnation of Analysis Paralysis, allows us to recognize the importance of decision making, before our "house burns down.”
Ahhhhh such a classic from Miss Marilyn. Reminding us it is okay to have flaws. And it is okay to embrace ourselves. We consist of both shadow and light aspects. We owe it to ourselves to honor both.
Such a powerful reminder to hold ourselves accountable. We must change in order to bring change. When reading this quote, "You wish" often stand out to me. I appreciate the concept that while I may change, others may not. Perhaps they have a different wish.
Either way, I am becoming the change I wish to see, and that is fine with me
This is the quote that brought the most growth into my life. I found it when I was in therapy in 2019. At my lowest of lows. This quote reminds me to keep on going and pushing through. We have a story, and it deserves to be told.
This one speaks for itself. Coach Carter was a favorite movie of mine in the late 2000s I practiced memorizing this line to the point I remember it verbatim 17 years later. Today, it holds greater truth and knowledge in my soul, than it did then. My Goodness, what a Beauty Time can be.
